About the Position

Dexis is seeking Project Director to support anticipated programming with the Department of Labor (DOL). This opportunity will support the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) in providing comprehensive operational, analytical, and program support services to develop and support the Artificial Intelligence Workforce Hub.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as the Contractor's primary point of contact, overseeing overall program execution.
  • Coordinates team activities, ensuring strategic alignment with the AI Workforce Hub's objectives.
  • Operates with a high degree of independence and manages competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Represents the Hub in external-facing settings, including engagements with private sector partners.
  • Integrates work across partnership development, research and analysis, and public-facing products.
  • Maintains high standards of quality, timeliness, and judgment and makes strategic prioritization decisions in dynamic environments.
  • Develops and maintains strong written and oral communications.
  • Shapes and quality-controls executive summaries, briefing materials, and principal-facing narratives for senior Government audiences.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience leading initiatives involving research, data, policy, strategy, partnerships, evidence-building, program management, or related work.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience serving as a project director, team lead, or in an equivalent position in project management, managing complex projects with multiple teams working simultaneously on different activities.
  • Experience overseeing or supporting the development of high-quality written materials, presentations, or strategic briefings for senior decision-makers.
  • A minimum of a master's degree in public policy, economics, social science, business, data science, law, technology policy, or a related field.
  • Experience related to labor markets, workforce policy, economic analysis, technology policy, or AI-related issues is preferred.
