Job DescriptionThe
Project Coordinator, Structures will support a transformative transit infrastructure project in the east end of downtown Toronto and will be part of a high-performing project team.
Your role:To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Assist with preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule.
- Organizes and maintains project site files and documents; manages electronic document database and/or file sharing site.
- Maintains up-to-date, accurate documents for the project including drawings, plans, submittals, document logs, purchase orders, etc.
- Reviews subcontractor/supplier progress applications and payment certificates
- Liaises with architects, consulting engineers, subcontractors and suppliers regarding contract and change notices, design revisions, RFIs, RFQ, etc.
- Prepares and participates in meetings with project team, architects, consultants and subcontractors.
- Assist with providing final document turnover to client at completion of project
- Coordinate deficiencies in a timely manner
About you:- Completed post-secondary degree or diploma in construction-related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a project support role, preferably a General Contractor or subcontractor.
- Experience working on commercial and/or institutional projects from start to finish.
- Ability to read and interpret contract specifications, drawings and other construction documents.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office including MS Project; experience with SharePoint is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize workload and stay on top of things as the project demands increase.

Additional informationExpected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $90,000 - $111,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
