Full Job Description

Amentum is actively seeking a CONUS Project Control Specialist provide program-level planning, scheduling, analysis, and coordination under the U.S. Navy Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maritime (PAE MARITIME) PMS 326 Follow-On Technical Support (FOTS) contract. The CONUS Project Control Specialist will support the Iraq VMR Delivery Order by maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), analyzing schedule performance and risk, supporting long-range planning and forecasting, and coordinating schedule inputs across program functions.


The CONUS Project Control Specialist will work directly with the Industrial Manager and Project Management Team to ensure maintenance activities, resources, dependencies, and major milestones are aligned and accurately reflected in the program schedule.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and analyze the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), including schedule logic, dependencies, milestones, critical path, float, constraints, and overall schedule health.
  • Develop and maintain program-level schedules that integrate maintenance activities, availability periods, material requirements, technical support, logistics, and other key program dependencies.
  • Provide long-range planning and forecasting to identify upcoming requirements, resource needs, material demand, SME support, and potential schedule conflicts.
  • Coordinate schedule inputs and updates with the Project Management Team, Industrial Manager, OEMs, SMEs, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Contracts, and other program stakeholders.
  • Analyze planned versus actual schedule performance and provide schedule trends, forecast completion dates, critical activities, and potential downstream impacts.
  • Identify schedule risks, constraints, and dependencies and support the development and tracking of mitigation strategies.
  • Develop recovery schedules and schedule mitigation plans when maintenance activities are delayed by material, technical, security, funding, operational, or other program constraints.
  • Evaluate the schedule impact of availability changes, maintenance delays, material shortages, technical issues, and other disruptions to identify potential impacts to major program milestones.
  • Support resource and workload forecasting to identify future manpower, material, SME, and maintenance requirements.
  • Provide schedule analysis, status updates, and planning data for program reviews, leadership briefings, reports, and customer meetings.
  • Maintain schedule documentation, assumptions, planning inputs, and supporting records in accordance with program document control requirements.
  • Support scenario planning and schedule analysis to evaluate alternative maintenance sequences, resource allocations, and schedule recovery options.
  • Attend program syncs, planning meetings and contribute to the identification and management of program schedule risks.

Minimum Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of planning, scheduling, project coordination, or program support experience.
  • Demonstrated superior attention to detail and the ability to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently, taking initiative, and coordinating with teams to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, milestones, dependencies, priorities, and multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Working experience in Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively communicate schedule status, risks, constraints, and priorities in written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Ability to obtain a United States Passport.
  • Ability to obtain a secret U.S. government clearance if required. Note: U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 5 years of relevant planning, scheduling, project controls, or program management support experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Availability to work core business hours aligned with Eastern time zone.
  • Experience maintaining or analyzing an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Experience with critical path analysis, schedule logic, dependencies, float, milestones, schedule health, and recovery planning.
  • Experience supporting complex maintenance or infrastructure programs.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or comparable software.
  • Experience coordinating with OEMs, SMEs, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Contracts, and Program Management.
  • Experience preparing schedule analysis, forecasts, performance reports, and leadership briefings.

       

Compensation Details:

85,500 - 93,500
