Full Job Description
As a Project Consultant, Capital Development you'll support the delivery of minor construction and renovation projects, equipment installations, and space changes across all our healthcare environments. You'll be based at Mount Sinai Hospital while providing support across Sinai Health campuses. What you enable behind the scenes helps maintain the safety, efficiency, and function of care settings.

Is this you?

You are detail-oriented and proactive, with a natural ability to keep complex projects organized and on track. You plan ahead to identify potential challenges, whether it's scheduling conflicts, construction dependencies, or code compliance and address them before they impact timelines. Deadlines, budgets, and quality checks are managed with precision, reflecting a disciplined approach that keeps your projects running smoothly and on schedule.

Strong collaboration comes naturally to you, particularly when projects involve diverse clinical and operational user groups. You engage stakeholders early, listen carefully to competing needs, and translate them into clear project actions that keep everyone aligned. The consistency in your approach to communication helps teams make timely decisions and maintain momentum. These abilities strengthen collaboration and help deliver projects that enhance functionality, safety, and the patient experience within our facilities.

If you are experienced in planning and managing minor construction projects, that background guides how you interpret requirements, apply standards, and see work through to completion. You bring assurance that each project meets technical specifications, regulatory obligations, and the quality expected in a healthcare environment. Through project delivery, you apply an informed understanding of building codes, safety protocols, and procurement procedures to help ensure work is completed in line with hospital policy. This contributes to safe, compliant project outcomes that reflect well on the broader redevelopment team.
