Overview

Job Title: Project Analyst

Location: National Capital Region (Washington DC and surrounding areas)

Rivet Operations Company is looking for a Project Analyst to monitor project performance and perform budget tracking for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in the National Capital Region.

The Project Analyst role is responsible for monitoring technical milestones, tracking budgets and resource utilization, and converting complex project data into actionable insights. This position is a strong fit for a detail-oriented analyst who is comfortable managing schedules, action items, and reporting in a fast-paced federal program environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Support development and upkeep of the Project Management Plan
• Prepare status reports that cross-reference progress against the project schedule and deliverables
• Support quality control processes, including review and approval procedures for deliverables and correction of identified deficiencies
• Maintain project records in compliance with DHS records management and information protection requirements

Requirements

Required Qualifications
• U.S. citizenship and able to pass a High-Risk Public Trust background investigation.
• Must possess a Bachelor's degree related to the field of work.
• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in project coordination, scheduling, and or analytical support
• Proficiency with project scheduling and tracking tools and familiarity with work-breakdown structure project management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience within the Department of Homeland security with familiarity in cybersecurity is desired.

Physical Requirements:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 40 lbs.
