Job DescriptionSeeking a senior level Programmer Analyst to join the DTMB team supporting the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and their Grants and Accounting application NexSys.
This position would be supporting the creation of educational grants and Analytical Reports in the NexSys System. NexSys contains over 100 educational grant applications that are rolled over yearly with minor to major changes each year. Applications are configured primarily with a click not code interface using SQL for custom error checks and calculations. Analytical Reports are SQL based and provide end users with data insights for each grant.
Strong SQL expertise and attention to detail are a strong must for this position
Requirements3+ years:
- Experience developing systems with Microsoft SQL
- Server database
- Experience writing complex Stored Procedures, Functions, and Views
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience with the Microsoft .NET programming language. (C#.NET and/or VB.NET)
Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role.
DesiredSkills2 years:
- Experience with Federal, State or local grant
1year:
- Experience with Playwright
MinimumEducation
Location- Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the hybrid schedule)
- Positionis ahybrid schedulewith NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.
