Position: Program Supply Chain Coordinator

Location: Irvine, CA

Position Description:

The Program Supply Chain Coordinator is the operational owner of program-level supply chain demand, priorities, and execution. This role ensures end-to-end alignment between the program build plan, material availability, supplier performance and escalation, and internal capacity constraints.

Operating within a dynamic UAV production environment with evolving processes, this role acts as both strategic integrator and tactical driver-balancing near-term execution needs with long-term material and capacity planning. You will interface daily with Program Management,

Operations, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality to ensure supply chain readiness and execution that meets program schedule, cost, and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Supply Chain Ownership

• Work with Program Management team and own the program-level supply chain demand plan, ensuring all material, supplier, and internal capacity needs are visible, feasible, and proactively managed.
• Translate program schedules, milestones, and engineering releases into actionable material and supply chain requirements.
• Maintain a consolidated view of program priorities, ensuring daily/weekly actions are aligned with the critical path.

Execution Management

• Drive end-to-end execution of material readiness for builds, flight tests, demos, and deliveries.
• Monitor shortages, lead cross-functional triage, and drive recovery plans to protect program milestones.
• Ensure supplier commitments, internal work order releases, and logistics flows support execution cadence.
• Publish a clear "single source of truth" for program material status, risks, and delivery outlook.

Capacity & Resource Alignment

• Assess internal and external supply chain capacity (suppliers, work centers, engineering release cadence) against program demand.
• Identify capacity gaps and collaborate with Operations, Planning, and Procurement on solutions, trade-offs, and escalation paths.
• Provide clear recommendations to leadership when material or capacity constraints require program re-prioritization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Program Management on schedule risk, delivery commitments, and customer-facing updates.
• Work closely with Procurement and Strategic Sourcing to align supplier priorities across multiple programs.
• Coordinate with Engineering on ECO impacts, configuration changes, and long-lead material implications.
• Collaborate with Quality to ensure inspection readiness and mitigation of holds impacting execution.

Data, Governance & Reporting

• Build and sustain program supply chain dashboards (material readiness, shortages, supplier performance, risk burndown).
• Maintain planning parameters and PFEP for program-critical components.
• Drive root-cause analysis for misses, ensuring permanent corrective actions across processes and suppliers.
• Champion continuous improvement and maturity-building activities that increase planning and execution stability.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience in Program Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, or Materials Management in aerospace/defense, electronics, or complex manufacturing environments.
• Strong competency in MRP, demand management, capacity planning, and supplier performance management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across high-visibility, fast-moving technical programs.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Business Central, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel or BI tools.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

• ASCM/APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) or PMP.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR/EAR compliance, and aerospace traceability requirements.
• Experience in UAV, robotics, or defense program execution environments.
• Exposure to APS, MES, and digital supply chain tools.

Clearance Level Required: None. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance, as required for the role.

Export Control / ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms

Work Authorization Requirement: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,00 annually

Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
