Job Description:Job Summary:Caterpillar's Electric Power Division has an open opportunity as a Program Specialist (Project Management) on our Large Electric Power team located in Griffin, GA. In this role, the Program Specialist will manage a portfolio of high visibility programs and projects for key end customers and dealers and be responsible for end-to-end project planning and successful project execution.
What you will do: • Requires experience in Project Management tools and processes, and ability to: facilitate projects, lead critical meetings, develop / validate network diagrams, lead integration and compression sessions.
• Overseeing project processes and procedures; monitoring the productivity and performance of the project team.
• Managing all aspects of the project portfolio. Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of projects.
• Reviewing and ensuring adherence to project materials, deliverables methodologies and procedures.
• Preparing and presenting program level reporting for upper management.
• Designing, establishing and monitoring the organization's project management goals.
• Collaborating with internal and external team members, using a disciplined project management approach, and coaching them on their project-related roles and responsibilities.
What you will have:Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

• Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Utilizes preferred tools, techniques, and methods for estimating project cost and time.
• Plans, estimates, staffs, organizes, and monitors significant projects.
• Identifies risks and vulnerabilities; creates contingency plans.
• Conducts regular and ad-hoc project reviews with project team, sponsors, and clients.
• Maintains open communication among project participants and interested parties.
Degree Requirement:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience desired.
Additional Information:- This position is located in Griffin, GA.
- This position may require up to 25% travel, primarily domestic.

Summary Pay Range:$112,710.00 - $169,060.00
