Full Job Description
Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, the Program Specialist-Continuous Improvement and
Accountability, leads the design and implementation of integrated, system-level services, planning,
organizing, and coordinating supports that strengthen district and charter school capacity to improve
student outcomes through continuous improvement.

The Program Specialist provides coaching, technical assistance, and professional learning aligned to Improvement Science, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), including but not limited to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) development, and Differentiated Assistance (DA).

Program Specialists are eligible to receive a $2,500 annual stipend for a doctorate degree, provided official documentation is submitted.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES:
Following the final filing date, the most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an in-person panel interview tentatively scheduled for September 18, 2026. Scheduled dates are subject to change as deemed necessary by Human Resources.
