Responsibilities

  • Support the planning team in constructing detailed resourced schedules for the Canadian Surface Combatant program
  • Prepare and maintain planning documents including WBS, IMP, and status reports
  • Attend and contribute in internal and external meetings
  • Conduct schedule analysis and run schedule risk assessments
  • Ensure the quality of the schedule is maintained throughout the project
  • Generate schedule metrics for performance tracking
  • Implement baseline change control and manage change requests

Full Job Description
Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance. Responsibilities include: supports the planning team with building detailed resourced schedules for all direct contracts under the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) Umbrella program, prepare and maintain planning artifacts (WBS, IMP, reports) and attend internal/external meetings. This also includes: schedule analysis, running schedule risk analysis, ensuring schedule quality is maintained, generating schedule metrics, ensuring Earned Value Management processes are followed, baseline change control and implementation of baseline change requests.
