Full Job Description
Valiant is seeking a Program Manager to support our customer's challenging requirements at a location in Virginia. Successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of the program to include, but not limited to:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as primary focal point for contract performance to include technical, staffing, cost, schedule and security performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, managing resources, budgets, risks.
  • Plan, direct, schedule and manage the timely and successful completion of tasks and contract deliverables.
  • Be the primary point of contact for the Sponsor for contract overall performance and deliverables; and coordinate on activities and maintain Sponsor relationships.
  • Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive plans, systems, procedures and policies to ensure a sound process and adherence to guidelines and operational security.
  • Implement and manage transition activities for effective and smooth program start-up.
  • Develop, schedule and manage procurement activities including overseeing sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management processes to ensure cost-effective, timely, and compliant acquisition of goods and services.
  • Ensure program compliance with personnel and operational security processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively on activities with relevant corporate functions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and organize meetings with the Sponsor in accordance with all deliverables.
  • Manage a program management team, including hiring, training and managing personnel if necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.


CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: TS/SCI with Poly

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • In-depth knowledge of the Sponsor's organization and ability to apply that background, skills and knowledge to meet Sponsor requirements.
  • At least five years of experience with programmatic forecasting, managing and controlling cost and budgets and achieving relevant financial metrics.
  • Eight to 10 years of program management experience leading programs of similar size and complexity.
  • Demonstrated strong experience and skills in procurement, leadership, security, management and cost management.
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated ability to maintain Sponsor operational security and personnel security standards and requirements.
  • Excellent people skills, sound judgment, and solid situational awareness in any environment.
  • Flexibility, ability to work well in a stressful environment and handle multiple managerial and technical tasks.
  • Excellent organizational, reporting, and briefing skills.
  • Computer literacy, ability to use Microsoft Office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • PMP certification
  • Previous industry experience managing projects of a similar size and scope.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees. This job will primarily be in an Office Setting
