Job DescriptionThe Program Manager V manages the overall execution of the project and coordination of the project team by communicating with stakeholders, managing project reporting on deliverables, supporting project delivery and aligning with the company's overall goals.
Responsibilities- Administer the project risk management process and prepare risk management plans
- Analyze plans, specifications, proposals, contract negotiations and other documentation to prepare bid estimates for project
- Access, plan, and engage project resources as needed through the life of the project
- Communicate the project plan, including objectives and responsibilities, to the project team
- Communicate with the customers and the project team, and conduct project meetings
- Drive a project delivery and ensure excellence in project deliverables
- Maintain a project risk register and ensure that the project risk profile is accurate and current
- Manage and oversee all aspects of customer service including scheduling
- Manage program financials and support business case development
- Establish effective project or program oversight and other governance bodies, and engage the appropriate stakeholders to support the direction of the project or program, and enable a superior customer experience
Qualifications- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
- OR (14) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
- OR (8) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree.
- OR (5) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.
- PMP (or equivalent) Certification
- Experience leading DoD development and production programs from inception through delivery
- Knowledge of DoD program management processes and compliance in regulated environments
- Strong financial acumen in program financial management and business cases
- Experience managing large and complex program ($5M+) with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Security Clearance
