As a result of continuously growing our professional team, we have a challenging career opportunity for a Program Manager in our Engineering Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Manager

  • The position reports directly to the Corporate Program Engineering Manager.
  • The function is to provide Technical, Quality and Program support to the Customer as a direct representative of The NARMCO Group. The Program Manager is the main point of communications for establishing recommendations, strategies, problem solving and direct knowledge of the Customer's requirements on current and future products/programs.
  • Will provide product design and process engineering support and guidance to the customer at all times representing the best interests and the capabilities of TheNARMCO Group of Companies.
  • Provide program timing, directions, and objectives as they relate to the program through Customer specific requirements & guidelines, ensuring to incorporate the standards established within the NARMCO Group.
  • Assist the Product Development and Design Group (within our organization and the Customer) in meeting the design requirements.
  • Assist and Provide support between the Customer and our Engineering &Estimating Groups as it relates to the program requirements, guidelines, and expectations for the completing of the program.
  • Manage all programs assigned throughout their product life; from initial kick of prototype, tooling, production launch activities, to PPQR signoff, utilizing the NARMCO advanced quality procedure and PPQR system.
  • Manage the Prototype and Pre-production requirements for ensuring timing and quality is met for each program deliverable.
  • Review & approve all Product Change Request Forms (PCR's) /Narmco Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for completeness & correctness
  • Ensure Customer requirements are met with proper responsiveness. Lead and assist other Departments of NARMCO in the interaction of the customer develop relationships with the Customer in all their departments including Engineering, Quality, Production and Finance, this will lead to improved customer relationships and New Business Opportunities.
  • Maintain documentation on all assigned programs showing tooling progress and timing from concept through to program conclusion, inclusive of PPAP with Tooling Engineering group assistance. Be principal coordinator on all off-load programs.
  • Responsible for Customer PPAP approvals and Submissions.
  • Be present at all 106 piece and 300 piece runs for product approval.


Education and Skills and Experience

    • A University or College graduate with emphasis in Quality or Engineering.
    • A minimum of five years work experience in related field in stamping and assembly area.
    • Work experience must contain strong management, organizational, marketing, communication, program management, administrative and time management skills.
    • The ability to Understand technical aspects of stamping business, quality aspect of industry ( such as QS and Iso standards) and computer skills; including all office applications.
