Job description

Safran Oxygen Systems Program Managers serve as the primary points of contact for their assigned customers on all non-commercial topics.
They are responsible for managing customer relationships throughout the entire program life cycle, leading both new product development and ongoing programs activities. Success in this role requires strong leadership and a collaborative, cross-functional approach.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Before contract award
• Provide all relevant inputs to the organization and collaborate closely with Sales to support the optimal sales strategy and ensure a consistent, harmonized approach to the customer
• Manage technical proposals internally and externally
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure business case inputs are realistic and accurate
• Maintain appropriate contact with relevant customer program and technical teams
• Support the customer in defining and selecting optimal components or systems
2. After contract award and until aircraft/product certification
• Create and maintain program scope documents
• Plan at program-level and manage resources to meet customer milestones
• Work closely with all company functions to ensure solutions meet all customer requirements and identify paths of action to resolve issues
• Ensure adherence to organizational processes and use of established tools
• Manage and control recurring and non-recurring program costs and maintain the overall business case
• Manage and mitigate program-level risks
3. After certification
• Manage sustaining programs in accordance with Safran procedures
• Ensure smooth entry into service for both the customer and the organization
• Maintain close contact with the customer to promptly resolve or avoid any emerging issues
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all non-commercial questions between the customer and the organization
