Job Description

The Program Manager - Product Resilience is responsible for establishing and driving the strategic vision for product and supply chain resilience across the aerospace business. This leader will oversee a team of Product Resilience Project Managers and analysts, ensuring critical products, suppliers, and manufacturing capabilities are protected against disruptions while supporting business growth and customer commitments.

This role requires an experienced leader capable of partnering with executive leadership, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Engineering, Quality, Operations, Procurement, and Program Management teams to identify enterprise risks, prioritize mitigation efforts, and drive transformational initiatives. The successful candidate will leverage data-driven decision-making to improve supply continuity, operational performance, and organizational resilience while communicating business impacts and recommendations to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

Resilience Strategy & Governance
  • Develop and execute the organization's product resilience strategy aligned with business objectives and customer commitments.
  • Establish governance processes, risk management frameworks, and performance metrics to monitor and improve resilience across products and supply chains.
  • Define enterprise-wide priorities for mitigating supply chain, manufacturing, supplier, obsolescence, capacity, and geopolitical risks.
  • Lead strategic planning and long-range resilience initiatives to increase organizational readiness and operational continuity.
  • Ensure resilience efforts are incorporated into new product introduction (NPI), sourcing strategies, and program execution.


Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Resilience Project Managers, analysts, and cross-functional leaders.
  • Establish clear objectives, accountability measures, and development plans for team members.
  • Foster a culture of proactive risk management, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Build organizational capability in resilience assessment, mitigation planning, and risk management methodologies.


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as the primary leader connecting Procurement, Supplier Quality, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, and Operations around resilience priorities.
  • Influence business leaders to align resources and investments with the highest-risk products and supply chains.
  • Lead enterprise-level reviews to evaluate resilience risks, mitigation progress, and strategic opportunities.
  • Partner with business units and operational leaders to ensure consistent deployment of resilience best practices.


Executive Engagement & Strategic Communication
  • Present resilience strategies, business cases, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to executive leadership.
  • Provide executive-level visibility into product and supply chain vulnerabilities, emerging risks, and performance trends.
  • Develop recommendations for strategic investments, supplier diversification, inventory strategies, capacity planning, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership regarding supply chain resilience and operational risk management.


Analytics & Business Insights
  • Champion the use of advanced analytics to identify vulnerabilities and proactive risk indicators.
  • Oversee development of resilience dashboards, executive scorecards, and risk monitoring systems.
  • Drive the use of data to prioritize initiatives, allocate resources, and quantify business impacts.
  • Ensure analytical rigor and consistency in reporting across the resilience organization.


Continuous Improvement & Transformation
  • Lead transformational initiatives that improve end-to-end supply chain resilience and business continuity.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and implement innovative approaches to strengthen resilience capabilities.
  • Sponsor continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing disruption risk, improving responsiveness, and increasing operational flexibility.
  • Drive enterprise adoption of resilience methodologies and standards.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain, operations, program management, engineering, manufacturing, or business leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong executive presence with proven ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
  • Advanced analytical and business acumen skills with experience leveraging data to drive organizational decisions.
  • Experience managing large-scale cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain risk management, operational resilience, and business continuity principles.


WE VALUE
  • Aerospace, defense, aviation, or highly regulated manufacturing industry experience.
  • Master's degree (MBA, Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline).
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, APICS/ASCM, or similar certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience leading supplier risk, resiliency, sourcing, or supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality and regulatory requirements including AS9100, FAA, and defense-related standards.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $96,000 - $120,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $110,000 - $138,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations
