Job Title: Program Manager - Procurement

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 office days a week)

Working location: Indianapolis, IN

There is an exciting opportunity as a Program Manager for Rolls-Royce, where you will support the Master Program schedule to ensure procurement plans for the assigned project are current, regularly reviewed and management reports on status of key deliverables are produced for the executive leadership team to review. As part of our LibertyWorks team, you will work to mitigate risks for our Defense business unit.

What you will be doing:
  • Manage the relationships with partners and suppliers and collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure that strategies meet the needs of current and future manufacturing programs
  • Support the deployment of risk management practices to assess, communicate and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Lead the function in delivering supplier performance targets and sustained improvement across cost, quality, delivery, technology, and management
  • Work with the suppliers to identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities in line with the project needs while ensuring suppliers perform in line with the agreed contractual frameworks
  • Support the execution of sourcing and commercial activities to maximize the value proposition across designated commodities
  • Understand the current supply base, supplier economics and major trends in relevant markets to spearhead the resolution of cost issues and commercial disputes

Basic Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 4+ years' experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations with 2+ years' experience in a supply chain or operations environment OR;
  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain or Operations OR;
  • JD/PHD OR;
  • In lieu of a degree, 6 years' experience in a supply chain or operations environment


Preferred Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an operations or maintenance scheduling role preferred
  • Prior experience with SAP
