Summary
A Program Manager will provide short- and long-term planning and analysis for Distribution and System Capacity programs through analytics of projects, programs, processes, trends, and resource needs in support of various workgroups within Distribution Operations.

This hybrid position will be on-site three plus days a week and report out of our corporate office located in Downtown Fort Worth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform project and program analytics to prepare plans, standards, and operating procedures consistent with good operational practice.
  • Develop and support plans, specifications, and project management documents for development, expansion, and maintenance of distribution programs.
  • Perform design and analytics-related tasks for defined distribution programs and support various Program Management teams with design support, coordination, and analysis, including interfacing with Distribution Standards, Maintenance Strategy, and Distribution Planning teams.
  • Provide technical expertise and Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge about both the current and desired future states of distribution programs, with the ability to create processes necessary across various workgroups to facilitate planning and execution of programs.
  • Support Program Management teams in analyzing and forecasting resource needs, project scopes and block costs, planning and phasing, and reporting on programmatic work.
  • Support development of programs to satisfy corporate initiatives and strategy.
  • Analyze program performance, devise course corrections, and support implementation of measures to ensure program success.
  • Effectively interact with field personnel to gain support and receive feedback for programs and associated performance measures.
  • Link field operations with planning and strategy functions through strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Facilitate electric delivery system operations processes and methodology that enable teams to package and streamline various distribution programs.
  • Incorporate personnel and public safety as a priority in the design and operation of system projects and programs.
  • Effectively communicate and resolve issues with other workgroups while presenting detailed documentation and plans ranging from conceptual to complex in nature.
  • Effectively manage multiple assignments while maintaining work product quality, reliability, and volume.
  • Promote environmental responsibility, corporate citizenship, and ethical conduct while setting a standard of excellence.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a discipline closely related to construction or project management is encouraged to apply.
  • Three or more years of experience in planning, design, operation, or construction of Distribution or Transmission facilities or another related field is required.
  • One or more years of experience in program or project management is encouraged to apply.

Measures of Success
  • Ability to effectively manage projects from inception to completion, working with other groups.
  • Positive contributions to the safety program.
  • Completion of Employment Development Plans.
  • Ability to build solid working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure successful and timely delivery of all distribution programs.
