The opportunity: Program Manager -
Clinical Trial OperationsAs a Program Manager, your main responsibility is to ensure (global) access to clinical trials via smooth running digital patient recruitment and pre-screening programs. The aim of our patient recruitment programs is to (1) increase patients' and physicians' clinical trial awareness and understanding, (2) pre-screen patients to assess their potential clinical trial eligibility, (3) provide high-quality patient referrals to clinical trial sites and 4) ultimately boost patient enrollment rates. You will serve as the first point of contact for pharmaceutical and biotech partners, providing end-to-end oversight of all patient recruitment program activities. You will ensure timely and high-quality delivery of patient recruitment programs by coordinating stakeholders and driving effective, compliant patient engagement from first contact to site referral and enrollment. You will be supported by cross-functional experts across Patient Navigation, Medical Community, Marketing, Product and Engineering.
Geographic Requirement: To ensure seamless collaboration with our teams, applicants
must reside within the EST or CST time zones.
What you'll do in this role:- Be the primary contact person for our BioPharma clients and internal stakeholders for the patient recruitment programs under your responsibility
- Be responsible for the onboarding and launch of new programs, including overseeing the development of patient recruitment materials (e.g., clinical trial landing pages with pre-screening questionnaires)
- Ensure a smooth-running program and insight-driven reporting
- Keep (financial) oversight of the program and manage all the ongoing activities and communication
- Create detailed timelines including deliverables, milestones and objectives and ensure that deadlines are being met
- Develop strong relations and trust with all stakeholders and keep them up to date on the progress of your programs
- Achieve and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Develop and advise on solutions to tackle operational issues along with relevant subject matter experts
- Contribute to improving our patient recruitment and pre-screening processes and strategies
- Support overall myTomorrows program performance and operations, as needed.
What you bring to the table:- University degree in Life Sciences/Healthcare (preferred)
- 2+ years of trial / project management experience within the pharmaceutical industry / CROs
- Thorough understanding of clinical research and clinical trial patient recruitment
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and budget oversight
- Experience leading client-facing programs, including managing expectations, communicating progress, and serving as a trusted partner to Sponsors and sites
- Strong communication and diplomatic skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations, balance stakeholder interests, and maintain productive long-term relationships
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to understand commercial drivers, track program financials, and contribute to strategic decision-making
- Basic understanding of how web pages and search engine ads function, to ensure a smooth collaboration with the Marketing and Product & Engineering teams
- A good eye for detail; thinking in processes/operations comes natural to you
- Able to prioritize, analyze issues, optimize processes and find / recommend alternative solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
What success in the first 6 months looks like:- At least one-two patient recruitment program launched on time, operating smoothly.
- A sustained flow of high-quality, pre-screened referrals meeting protocol-specific criteria, with clear conversion from inquiry to enrollment.
- Strong client relationships, evidenced by NPS > 50 and no escalations.
- Seamless collaboration with other teams incl. Patient Navigation, Medical Community, Marketing, Product & Engineering.
