Program Manager, Lead

The Opportunity: 

An effective program requires a manager who is passionate about guiding it through the complexities of its lifecycle. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus. That’s why we need a seasoned program manager like you who can ensure our program achieves success.

As a lead program manager on our team, you’ll design, implement, and maintain impactful programs by guiding the team. Your client will trust you to organize and coordinate program objectives, while your team will look to you for direction as they navigate requirements, budget constraints, and staffing challenges. As an authority in the cyber account, you’ll identify opportunities to grow the business by supporting your client’s mission. You’ll also broaden your expertise in problem management, strategic planning, reviewing contracts, and more. This is your chance to impact cyber driven missions while sharing your knowledge and expertise of program management methodologies.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience managing large-scale DoD cyber programs across multiple Impact Level (IL) environments
  • Experience leading teams, including managing resources and deliverables, or overseeing the day-to-day tasks of the team
  • Experience capturing technical and operational capabilities and translating them into clear, compliant proposals and deliverables
  • Ability to perform process mapping and analyze processes for efficiencies
  • Ability to manage schedules and tasks for implementations, deployments, and operations
  • Ability to confidently interact with senior leadership
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, or 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in lieu of degree
  • Ability to obtain a Project Management Professional (PMP)Certification within 90 days of hire date
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with visualization platforms, including Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI
  • Experience with project artifacts and documentation, including project plans, milestone charts, or project roadmaps
  • Experience managing subcontractor and vendor relationships
  • Knowledge of Identity, Credential, and Access Management principles
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust principles
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possession of excellent leadership skills
  • PMP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
