What You Will Do
Guidehouse is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale federal technology program operating within secure and classified environments.
This role oversees complex enterprise IT workstreams and drives disciplined execution across cost, schedule, quality, risk, resources, communications, and stakeholder management.
The ideal candidate brings deep program governance experience paired with hands-on delivery leadership across secure enterprise infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud modernization, and custom application ecosystems. The ideal candidate should also be capable of driving technology modernization initiatives, strategic improvements, and long-term roadmap development while effectively engaging technical leaders on architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and application delivery decisions.
Responsibilities
Serve as the single client point of contact and day-to-day program lead for management activities for a large-scale federal technology program supporting mission-critical operations.
Oversee scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, procurement coordination, stakeholder management, and integration activities.
Coordinate delivery across multidisciplinary teams including infrastructure, software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, operations, and program support.
Monitor program performance against contractual, operational, financial, schedule, and quality expectations.
Lead structured risk and issue management, including identification, analysis, mitigation planning, escalation, and resolution tracking.
Support budget, forecasting, staffing, resource planning, and performance reporting activities.
Engage with federal stakeholders, program leadership, technical teams, subcontractors, and partner organizations to ensure alignment and execution.
Support audit readiness, compliance coordination, deliverable management, and quality assurance activities.
Lead transition, modernization, continuous improvement, and operational stabilization activities as needed.
Prepare executive-level briefings, status reports, program artifacts, decision materials, and leadership communications.
Support contract and account growth, including organic growth and business development.
What You Will Need
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
o Once onboard with Guidehouse, new hire MUST be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree
Five (5) or more years of experience managing large federated security projects.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience managing large federal IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology modernization programs.
Experience overseeing program governance, integrated planning, risk management, performance oversight, and cross-functional team coordination.
Experience managing cost, schedule, scope, quality, resources, communications, risks, issues, and stakeholder expectations.
Experience supporting secure, compliance-driven federal environments.
What Would Be Nice To Have
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong executive presence, leadership judgment, organization, and decision-making skills.
Experience managing enterprise IT portfolios, infrastructure programs, cybersecurity operations, cloud modernization, or application modernization initiatives.
Experience managing programs involving classified environments, national security missions, intelligence community stakeholders, or highly regulated federal operations.
Experience coordinating multi-vendor or subcontractor delivery teams.
Experience leading programs with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, software development, cloud, and operations components.
Experience with ITIL, SAFe, Agile delivery, DevSecOps, Zero Trust, RMF, NIST 800-53, or federal security compliance frameworks.
Certifications such as CISM, CISA, CGEIT, SAFe Agilist, ITIL, CISSP, or comparable program / technology leadership credentials.
Experience developing governance models, executive reporting, performance dashboards, quality management processes, and program management artifacts.
