Position Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for supporting and executing strategic vendor programs with a strong focus on Cisco initiatives, partner engagement, and go-to-market execution. This role serves as a key liaison between Ingram Micro and Cisco, helping drive program alignment, operational excellence, and revenue growth across global and regional partners.

The ideal candidate will manage buying programs, vendor exception processes, training initiatives, and sales enablement activities while collaborating closely with Product Managers, Partner Operations Managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams. This role requires strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills to successfully coordinate multiple initiatives and support business objectives.

What you'll do
  • Manage buying programs for global partners and support regional go-to-market initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between Cisco and Ingram Micro for program execution, operational support, and escalations.
  • Navigate Cisco procedures, policies, and vendor exception processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Support Cisco-driven initiatives, campaigns, and strategic projects that drive partner engagement and business growth.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, demos, and enablement materials for internal teams and partners.
  • Create outbound content and messaging to support Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers (PMs), Partner Operations Managers (POMs), vendors, and cross-functional teams on key projects and operational initiatives.
  • Track project timelines, coordinate resources, and ensure timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners.

What you bring to the role
  • A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1-year position specific experience.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with experience delivering training sessions, demos, or enablement content.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

  • Established and productive professional capable of working independently with general supervision while exercising sound judgment in resolving moderately complex business challenges.


The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $78,000.00 - $124,800.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
