WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

As an Program Management Specialist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:

  • Conducting comprehensive reviews and assessments of complex program activities, operational processes, and administrative functions, including analysis of sensitive or high-visibility issues, ensuring completion within established and often time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Developing, coordinating, and implementing response strategies and corrective action plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring recommendations are tailored to the severity of issues and aligned with organizational priorities and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparing clear, comprehensive, and defensible reports, briefings, and consolidated case summaries for senior leadership, including documentation suitable for audit, oversight review, and decision-making purposes.
  • Managing multiple concurrent assignments and high-volume workloads involving complex and often competing priorities; ensuring timely completion of deliverables while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and quality standards.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following:

  • Conducting comprehensive analysis of multiple confidential incident report types, to identify risks, trends and operational gaps across programs.
  • Developing evidence-based response plans and recommendations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring recommendations are tailored to risk severity and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Producing clear, defensible records and consolidated case summaries, that inform senior leadership decisions and support external audit readiness.
  • Managing high-volume, complex caseloads while maintaining quality standards and meeting critical escalation timelines.
