Full Job Description
About the Role

We are seeking a Program Lead to own the day-to-day success of builder partners - the relationships and the operations. These partnerships have introduced thousands of homeowners to Base and continue to scale rapidly each week.

As the primary point of contact, you will represent Base in interactions with our partner and be accountable for the success of the program and relationship. That means driving volume growth, unit economics, and quality outcomes while ensuring our partner stays motivated to win alongside us. You'll start by owning one homebuilder partner as the single point of contact.

This is a foundational hire on a small, fast-moving Biz-ops team that requires functional breadth and driving into detail. You'll see the entire lifecycle of a channel partnership, from operational execution to demand generation to installation, and coordinate across sales, marketing, design, finance, product, deployment operations, and membership experience to make it work. You'll have clear ownership, direct visibility across the organization, and a bias toward figuring things out the day they come up rather than waiting for a playbook to exist.

What You'll Do
  • Own partner success and take clear accountability for targets and performance of the partner.
  • Build trusted relationships with executives and on-the-ground teams across 4+ divisions at the partner company to ensure continued success. You will be the go-to-contact.
  • Keep the reporting tight with recurring partner updates, dashboards, and check-ins to keep the partner informed and confident.
  • Set, track, and deliver against internal targets and channel health across Base teams to achieve partnership goals.
  • Resolve escalated issues from within the channel. Take action yourself or empower the right team to act, without formal authority over them.
  • Build the playbook - turn one-off fixes into documented, repeatable processes.
  • Launch new neighborhoods within your partner's existing footprint, coordinating across various internal functions.
  • Design and run structured tests through data, technology, and strong commercial instincts to unlock step-change improvements in processes, offerings, and outcomes.
  • Regular travel to Texas markets to meet builder partners in person.

What You'll Bring
  • Proven experience standing up and leading large-scale partnerships or initiatives in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to motivate and coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders externally and internally.
  • Commercial acumen to structure and sustain win-win-win outcomes for Base, our partner, and our members in a B2B2C environment.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset; comfort working or building with modern tools (e.g., SQL, dashboards, CRMs) and rolling up your sleeves to dig into the data to spot what's off and act on it.
  • A real bias to action. You don't wait to be told.
  • Strong communication and an even keel synthesizing complex situations clearly across multiple functions.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-growing, fast-changing environment where the process doesn't exist yet and fixes need to happen quickly.

About the Team

The Base business operations team is responsible for some of the company's highest-leverage outcomes: financing our growth, commercial partnerships, acquisitions and integrations, new market and product entries, and the programs that span too many teams to have a natural owner. It is a set of small teams of generalists who work directly with Base's founders, pick up the problem that matters most, build the structure and analysis it needs, and hand back something that runs itself.

Please note: Base is a startup, which means priorities shift and evolve quickly. Your role may expand or change based on the needs of the business at any given time, so the responsibilities listed may not be exhaustive.
