Job DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?The Wealth Management Strategy and Transformation team oversees and guides the Wealth Management strategy and transformation efforts, ensuring alignment with Line of Business (LOBs) and segment strategic goals. The team provides program leadership for programs that impact multiple LOBs across the Wealth Management segment. This role will enable the Strategy and Transformation team to support the set up and delivery of a transformational private banking program as well as share best practices gained from the program across Wealth Management.
What will you do?Cross Business Program Management Support: The primary responsibilities may evolve but are expected to be focused on the following:
- Support the set up and delivery of a Global Private Banking transformational program across regions (Canada, US, Asia and UK), driving consistency across international teams.
- Provide program management leadership to drive progress across all related workstreams, including the operating model, value realization and delivery roadmap.
- Coordinate activities across the Global Private Banking team and associated regional teams, including coordination with Digital, Technology and functional partners.
- Lead the value capture work stream for all LOBs, in alignment with Wealth Management strategy, including Investor Relations Day targets and clear program OKRs.
- Develop executive communications and leadership visibility on program status, support required and value delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks; manage scope changes; handle dependencies; and resolve conflicts between competing priorities
Program / Project Guidelines & Standards:
- Knowledge sharing from the program across Wealth Management LOBs through coaching, updated guidelines, templates and use of project and portfolio management tools
Must have:- Experience within Wealth Management with a particular focus on Private Banking.
- Leadership experience managing significant programs with international impact.
- Experience working in cross-business environments.
- Proven success in leading program management in large financial institutions or corporations including financial planning.
- Experience with program financial disciplines including; business case development, investment planning, and benefit management
Nice to have:- Competent in the ability to translate data into insights including, OKR tracking, value realization and risk management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate a wide variety of complex information in both oral and written format, building credibility and presence to be a trusted advisor with business leaders.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk mitigation and problem-solving while dealing with uncertainty.
- Demonstrated collaboration skills with a proven track record of obtaining results through partnerships, impact and influence.
