Job Title: Program Coordinator (Mentor-Protégé Program)
Location: Falls Church, VA-National Capital Region (NCR)
Position Type: Full-time; Contract Award Contingency*


Position Summary
The Program Coordinator (MPP) provides program oversight, coordinating program agreements and policy development, program management reviews, and budget/expenditure tracking ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

*Contract Award Contingency: This position is being advertised in anticipation of a potential contract award (Q4 2026) and is contingent upon the successful award of that contract to our organization. If the contract is not awarded, this position will not be filled.

Key Responsibilities (List not all inclusive):
  • Coordinate the review, approval, and management of Mentor-Protégé Agreements (MPAs)
  • Conduct needs assessments and draft policy/process documentation aligned with program/federal guidance
  • Track the lifecycle of MPAs, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and reporting
  • Organize and facilitate program management reviews (PMRs) with stakeholders
  • Prepare budget and expenditure reports for MPP activities
  • Liaise with other agencies to ensure program alignment and compliance
  • Maintain records and documentation for audits and performance reviews
  • Provide training and guidance to mentors and protégés on program requirements
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting the MPP and recommend updates to policies
  • Support outreach and communication efforts related to the MPP
  • Other relevant duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, public administration, acquisition or related field
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in small business programs, acquisition, or grants/agreements administration (MPP experience strongly preferred).
  • Meets U.S. citizenship and work eligibility requirements for federal contractors
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) secret clearance (if required)
Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to interact professionally with senior leaders, including civilians, military personnel, and contractors
  • Experienced in policy analysis and drafting
  • Skilled in budget and expenditure tracking
  • Proven success in project management and coordination
  • Knowledge of Federal acquisition and small business program knowledge
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Salary Range
$80,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and contract funding availability. Final compensation will be determined based on candidate experience, internal equity, and client contract requirements. Salary range shown is the good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
  • Visual acuity for close work, such as reading on screens and in print and working on a computer
  • Occasional lifting of materials or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
