Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 3+ years of experience in federal government contracting.
• Proven experience in financial tracking and support related to Program Control, Finance, Cost Estimating, or Accounting.
• Solid knowledge of government contracting regulations and accounting principles.
• Understanding of financial analysis, including Net Margin and Operating Margin, and the preparation of EACs and cost estimates.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Exceptional organizational skills and capability to perform under deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• U.S. Citizenship is required; must be eligible for a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Program Managers and senior staff from various functions, including Finance and Procurement.
• Plan, track, analyze and report on multiple diverse projects.
• Prepare financial deliverables and reports including forecasts and monthly status reports.
• Administer contract progress from beginning to end, including billing and cash flow analysis.
• Monitor cost and schedule variances to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Review contract funding and expenditures for accuracy.
• Prepare accruals and handle month-end financial activities.
