Job DescriptionReporting to the Finance Operations Manager, this pivotal role within the Finance Leadership Team is responsible for overseeing financial processes across the Tactical Solutions and Space Systems SBUs.
The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
What You'll Do:- Provide mentorship and guidance to the SBU finance team, ensuring the delivery of necessary training and development to support project controls and estimating & pricing functions.
- Coordinate control activities with the responsible SBUs, including Control Self-Assessment (COSA) testing and internal/external audits, while managing the resolution of identified findings and deficiencies.
- Provide project controls leadership for high-impact, complex, or Tier 1 EVMS programs as designated by the SBU Finance Director.
- Collaborate with central compliance functions including EVMS, ESD, FP&A, Government Accounting, and Internal Controls to implement and operationalize policies, controls, and guidance within the SBUs.
- Coordination with SBU finance management and the finance director to ensure strategic alignment of staffing resources.
- Provide guidance on estimating and pricing best practices, with a focus on compliance and the formal execution of Form 93 authorizations and compliance.
- Coordination with SBU finance managers and ICE function to ensure assessments are done on a timely basis to support reviews. Work with ICE function to create processes to assess EACs.
- Coordination of Monthly PPRs/Quarterly EAC reviews.
- Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with CFO Certification and CSR requirements.
- Lead consolidation of Quarterly EAC results to support 'one-liner' reporting for the significant fee accrual meeting.
- Lead Quarterly EAC CFO certification process.
- Perform additional duties and support special projects as assigned.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working
on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions: - Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Short Term Incentive: Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
Required Skills and Education- Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 10 or more years related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- 10 or more years of experience in Aerospace and Defense (A&D) or similar government contracting environment.

Preferred Skills and Education- Advance Degree.
- CPA, CMA, CFA or other equivalent financial certificate/license.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
