The Brooks Footwear Product Operations team exists to enable and empower product teams to achieve their best possible outcomes. As part of Global Footwear, the team drives excellence in portfolio and program management, focusing on optimizing operational processes, enhancing internal communication, and managing strategic projects and portfolios. A key priority is fostering alignment among stakeholders and continuously improving ways of working to support product development and execution.
Our global team is seeking a Program and Process Manager II to lead complex, cross-functional programs from concept to delivery in market. In this role, you manage mid-level product development workstreams or full programs, proactively solving interdependencies and driving alignment with business strategies. You will contribute to process improvement efforts at scale and connect multiple teams to ensure cohesive program execution. This role requires a systems thinker who can balance executional detail with strategic context. To succeed, it will be essential to understand and apply project management fundamentals, while continuously learning and implementing best practices in portfolio and process management.
The Program and Process Manager II brings program leadership, stakeholder management, and operational acumen to integrate initiatives across functions. You will operate with autonomy, facilitate decision-making, and contribute to the evolution of our program management practices. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, eager to lead and coach in project and process management, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Lead end-to-end management of programs or major cross-functional workstreams, aligning project teams to shared goals, critical timelines, and deliverables that support broader strategic objectives.
- Act as the central connector across cross-functional teams, resolving blockers, tracking key dependencies, and ensuring consistent communication and alignment throughout the product creation process.
- Champion and apply best practices in program and portfolio management, contributing to the refinement of tools, templates, and methodologies. Drive integrated program planning, creating and maintaining work plans, program dashboards, milestone tracking, and status reporting for internal stakeholders.
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies and escalating issues that could impact program health or delivery timelines.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders and program sponsors to align execution with strategy, translating complex objectives into actionable workstreams.
- Lead cross-functional meetings and milestone reviews, developing clear documentation of action plans, and follow-ups to drive progress.
- Contribute to process optimization initiatives by mapping workflows, surfacing inefficiencies, and helping implement scalable improvements across programs.
- Support resource and prioritization conversations by analyzing program capacity needs and providing insight into trade-offs.
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to define program scope, outcomes, and critical path; ensure clarity and accountability across contributing functions.
- Serve as a program lead in broader portfolio discussions, supporting alignment with enterprise priorities and business impact goals.
- Mentor team members, sharing knowledge, building capabilities, and contributing to a high-performing Program & Process Management team culture.
- Enable cross-functional decision-making by proactively identifying gaps, facilitating issue resolution, and aligning stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and ownership of critical milestones.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, with 5+ years of experience in program, project, or process management, preferably within a product development environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional programs or initiatives with multiple stakeholders and high business impact.
- Strong knowledge of program and project management tools (Smartsheet, Monday, Asana, or similar).
- Proficiency in program planning, critical path development, risk management, and integrated workstream oversight.
- Proven ability to align execution to strategy, driving cross-functional collaboration and resolving team misalignment or delivery challenges.
- Strong stakeholder management and influence skills, including experience collaborating with senior leadership.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
- Analytical and systems thinker with the ability to optimize workflows and implement scalable process improvements.
- Comfortable working in an evolving environment; adaptable, proactive, and continuously improving how programs and teams operate.
- Goal-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to challenge the status quo - always looking at improving our products and processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills-able to translate complexity into clarity and drive alignment across functions. Passion for enabling product creation teams and a deep understanding of the runner or consumer is a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community.

Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $98,286 - $147,428 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
