DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Professional, Finance Datahub.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The Professional, Finance Datahub is an experienced individual supporting the design, execution, and transformation of enterprise finance data platforms within the Finance Applications IT organization.

This role sits within IT Enterprise Applications and supports the SAP Finance Datahub platform by enabling efficient data management, analytics, and reporting capabilities across the FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Controllership organization.

This position operates with a higher degree of independence, partnering closely with Finance, IT, and data stakeholders to support and deliver robust finance data platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, implement and support core finance data platforms including but not limited to SAP BW4HANA, SAP S4 Finance, Central Finance, SAP Group Reporting, SAP SAC Planning, and SAP MDG Master Data Governance.


  • Design, develop, and maintain finance data platforms, data pipelines, and data architectures to support enterprise reporting and analytics


  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data through validation, reconciliation, and data quality controls


  • Support the design, development, and enhancement of data architectures and data warehouse solutions


  • Build and deliver data pipelines, integrations, and backend data processing systems


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance, standardization, and consistency across systems


  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation and efficiencies in data management and reporting workflows with AI.


  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and data governance standards


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field required


  • Master's degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) preferred


Experience and Skills

Required

  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience planning, designing, delivering and supporting finance platforms including SAP BW4HANA, SAP Data Integration (ex. SLT and SDI).


  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP Basis and SAP platform architecture and management.


  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


  • Effective communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business recommendations


Preferred

  • Experience planning, designing, and supporting SAP Cloud Data Warehouse/Data Sphere and SAP BDC and integration with downstream cloud data platforms (ex. DataBricks, Snowflake, AWS)


  • Experience developing SAP applications including SAP ABAP, SQL, and CDS Views.


  • Experience with SAP MDG and data connections with SAP cloud platforms.


  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and modern data architectures


  • Experience delivering S/4 transformation initiatives


  • Understanding of financial processes, reporting, and data management principles Other


  • Language Requirements: English proficiency required


  • Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel may be required


  • Certifications: SAP, CPA, CFA, or data/analytics certifications preferred

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
