A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Productivity Improvement Professional, you will lead improvement projects from opportunity identification through sustainment, resolving issues that impact the manufacturing environment. Your role incorporates strategy at every level of the organization, partnering with collaborators to identify opportunities that improve daily operations and positively impact the bottom line.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Evaluate current manufacturing practices, identify improvement opportunities, and lead projects through the sustainment phase.
  • Develop and apply data analysis methods to deliver meaningful summary insights to internal customers.
  • Lead and manage the cost savings portfolio and develop improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate and connect with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Train and apply Lean principles during project execution.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence through continual learning.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 8+ years of experience applying Industrial Engineering techniques and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to research, improve, and implement projects that positively impact Safety & Quality culture, schedule performance, and cost reduction.
  • Strong desire and technical aptitude to understand product design, including how features influence design for manufacturability, material selection, and product cost.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate drawings, lineups, BOMs, and component features to calculate Design for Manufacturability and financial impact, and to coach teams during Lean workshops. SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, A3).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, Visio for process documentation, Excel (including pivot tables), and an understanding of business KPIs and operations management.
  • Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice versa.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
