Raytheon Production Test Engineers(PTE)are part of a manufacturing team who supportthetest process through one or more phases of the product life cycle, including product development, transition to production, sustained production and depot activities.PTE validatesandensurescomplianceof the prime hardwareto technical data package requirementsand supporting test equipment.Performstroubleshooting and problem solving of test failures.Identifiesopportunitiesin test processes to improve efficiency, yields, and capacity.

What You Will Do:

  • Validatenew or modified test equipment for production use.
  • Ensure the operation of test equipment and associated work instructions are accurate.
  • Ensure test equipment and software meet the test requirements specified for the product.
  • Monitor and improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends, failure modes, and test yields.
  • Perform preliminary investigation of problem resolution.
  • Develop test flows andcontribute totest capacity analysis.
  • Maintain changes to the test equipment technical data package which includes drawings, test instructions, test position manuals, and system software.
  • Assistin non-routine fault isolation, diagnosisand repair of the product or test equipment.
  • Lead root cause and corrective action investigations andpresent findings.
  • Provide technical training in both product and test equipment to production test specialists and metrology personnel.


Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor9s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience/educationwith interpretation of technical documentationor writing
  • Experience/education with project execution
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience may be obtained through on9the9job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate9s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company9s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
