We're looking for a
Production Team Leader to join our
Athabasca OSB Division,located in
Slave Lake, Alberta. This state-of-the-art facility has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative products for customers around the world.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12.
- Completion of post-secondary education in Engineering, Wood Sciences, or a related program is an asset.
- Demonstrated focus on safety.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 2-3 years experience leading a team. Completion of a supervisory or leadership certificate is an asset.
- 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing setting (wood products manufacturing preferred).
- Experience in a shiftwork setting and continuous press experience is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Lead by example and set the bar for those around you on all things safety.
- Inspire and coach your team to achieve results.
- Work within and across teams to meet production targets, budgets and managing staffing levels.
- Identify and report on any maintenance and safety issues.
- Find solutions and meet goals.
- Optimize productivity and recovery.
