Overview

The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials, and systems) to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieve performance targets as agreed with Production Management.

Reporting Location: Kingfield, ME

Pay Range: $79,372 - $90,783 / annually. This role is eligible for an annual bonus.

Schedule: 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, 12 hour, rotational shift

Responsibilities

Optimizes KPIs by implementing, supporting, and leading Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities focused on operational improvements.
Identify and implement sustainable process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance.
Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
Ensure Safety Standards are executed by all associates with Safety being the leading topic at all meetings with associates.
Ensure that a high quality of products, services, housekeeping, and hygiene standards are maintained and improved in the area.
Review of KPIs and Top Losses daily and ensuring action plans are focused on correcting the Top Losses.
Support the Operations Manager on all key deliverables of the business.
Ensure Daily Operational Reviews are executed at a high level with engagement from all responsible associates.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to meet current and future business requirements.
Work directly with Technical Resource and Line Owners on key actions to drive business results.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and relevant experience.
2-5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a high-speed manufacturing environment; experience in bottling, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or food and beverage industries preferred.
Working knowledge of workplace safety standards and the ability to support and reinforce compliance with established requirements.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve operational issues.
Proficiency in SAP and standard computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
Familiarity with applicable quality and hygiene regulations.
General understanding of cost-awareness principles in manufacturing operations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, delegate tasks effectively, and support team performance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
