Production Supervisor

Salary $80,000 - $85,000

SAFETY
Responsible for providing a safe environment for all employees assigned to them.
Responsible for Accident and Incident investigations in their area.
Responsible for acceptance/review of customer orders for safety and quality.
Responsible for the strict adherence of the company safety program and the maintaining good employee relations for the personnel assigned to them.

PRODUCTION
Responsible for the performance of plant employees and activities.
Schedules work and maintains production to ensure quality and on time goals are met
Responsible for acceptance/review of customer work orders for feasibility and on-time delivery.
Promotes ideas for developing and implementing capital projects
Maintains and promotes 5S throughout their production area, equipment and grounds.
Makes recommendations to Operations Manager as needed for production and operational improvements.
Utilizes appropriate metrics to ensure operations are operating efficiently.
Assist in the preparations of performance reviews and disciplinary action. Responsible for employee training.

QUALITY
Responsible for maintaining and improving production efficiency and quality systems in their area.
Maintains and monitors quality metrics to ensure continuous improvement throughout their area.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree preferred with a minimum of 5 Years operational andmanagerial experience. Additional experience may replace the need for a degree.IS0-9001 training preferred.
