ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing all production-related activities and ensuring they are performed safely while meeting all company safety and environmental requirements. This position works closely with various departments, coordinating manufacturing activities across the plant to ensure products meet specifications and testing is conducted routinely.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Adheres to the plant Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations for the production department.
  • Maintains production schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Works closely with Plant staff on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervises employees, plans and assigns work, adjusts schedules to meet production requirements, analyzes and resolves work problems, and inspects materials to verify conformance with standards.
  • Maintains production records and ensures employees complete documents correctly and on time.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: An associate's degree is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Field of Study Preferred: Management, Engineering, Business

Required Work Experience: 3+ years in leadership.

Travel Requirements: N/A

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
