Production Superintendent

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will supervise day-to-day operations at a Linde hydrogen and nitrogen site, including Steam Methane Reformers, to ensure safe and reliable performance
  • You shall train facility technicians, implement safety programs, and meet cost commitments while maintaining compliance with quality systems and governmental regulations
  • In this role you will monitor unit operations, compressors, and supporting equipment to supply products safely and prevent unscheduled shutdowns
  • Troubleshoot plant processes & equipment problems and implementing solutions
  • Take responsibility for writing and reviewing standard operating procedures and standard maintenance procedures to strengthen operational consistency and reliability
  • Additionally, coordinate maintenance activities, ensure proper use of the maintenance management system, and drive optimization initiatives for safety, efficiency, and reliability
  • Maintain QA program, facilitate customer and corporate audits
  • Develop and maintain relationship/communication with the customer
  • Furthermore, communicate effectively with technicians, maintenance teams, the facility manager, and business partners while scheduling technician work hours and evaluating direct reports

  • In addition you should have experience managing safety programs and ensuring compliance with regulations such as OSHA Process Safety Management, Environmental Protection Agency Risk Management Plan
  • Demonstrate the ability to drive continuous improvements in safety, reliability, and operational efficiency across Steam Methane Reformer units and supporting equipment
  • Additionally, be comfortable managing multiple priorities, making informed decisions, and keeping facility leadership informed of operational deviations
  • You are recognized for your ability to maintain strong operational discipline, coordinate effectively across teams, and support the overall performance of the site
