Job DescriptionJob Title: Production Planning & Control Manager (Manufacturing Operations)
Working Pattern: Full Time (onsite 9/80 schedule)
Working location: Indianapolis, IN
As a Production Planning & Control Manager for Rolls-Royce, you'll Support S&OP in evaluating the impact of demand changes including preparation of response, undertaking scenario planning, as required, to evaluate the impact of potential future load scenarios. You'll ensure changes that impact on the supplier/customer are accepted and that the team has robust & credible plans in place that meet customer requirement and are deployed to support delivery. Identifying and driving actions required to deliver total load on Turbines Manufacturing while ensuring awareness within the value stream of delivery issues, mitigations, and recovery plans. You'll also work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Manager to ensure delivery requirements are met.
What you will be doing- Ensure the ERP system reflects current schedule requirements. Drive ERP compliance with the team, using the standard, mandated Work Instruction, to ensure robustness of plans through high integrity
- Ensure supply chain risks that have potential to impact delivery are identified, prioritized and escalated, where appropriate, within the Turbines
- Manage and lead a team of MRPC professionals ensuring alignment to generic roles and development of competency in role to the required
- Drive inventory optimization while ensuring customer deliveries are being met.
- Deploy standard inventory planning processes in the management of excess / surplus & ensure adherence to stock audit
- Support appropriate CoP's and process councils, ensuring sharing of best practice and continuous improvement of standard processes. Help identify, document and deliver areas for supply chain
- Ensure appropriate scheduling and resourcing of standard P&C related assessments and closure of related actions arising. Support IPPR assessments

Basic Requirements:- Associate's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 7+ years of Supply Chain experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 5+ years of Supply Chain experience, OR
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with 3+ years of Supply Chain experience, OR
- JD/PhD, OR
- 9+ years Supply Chain Experience in lieu of degree
- In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Requirements:- Previous experience of managing teams and people
- Demonstrated ability to deliver under challenging circumstances
- Understanding of different roles/functions/processes (e.g., Manufacturing, Purchase, NPI, ME)
- Implemented improvement activity, participated in dealing with change (e.g., process)
- Experience of production planning and control
- Knowledge of and working experience with MRP
- MS Office or equivalent working skills
- Effective communication, collaboration, and cross-functional problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to core company behaviors (putting safety first, doing the right thing, keeping it simple, and making a difference).

A 9/80 compressed work week means an employee works 80 hours over nine days in a two-week period. Generally, this means working nine hours Monday - Thursday, with alternating eight-hour Fridays and "off" Fridays.
