JOB DESCRIPTION
Production PlannerLocation: Beverly, MA (on-site)
Reports to: Jason Burton, Director, Production Planning
Drive production planning that keeps operations running smoothly and efficiently.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, maintain, and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts, engineering plans, and production specifications
- Coordinate with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure materials and resources are aligned with production timelines
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address changes in demand, supply constraints, or operational priorities
- Analyze capacity and labor requirements to optimize production flow and resource utilization
- Track and report on key performance metrics such as schedule adherence and production output
- Identify potential bottlenecks or risks and proactively recommend solutions to maintain schedule integrity
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and scheduling processes
- Ensure accurate data management within ERP and planning systems
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment (high-tech or semiconductor preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Proficiency with ERP systems and planning tools
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

U.S. BASE SALARY RANGE
$66,564.00 - $99,846.00
This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.
Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on
multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work
location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as
you develop within the role.
Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the
Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular
employees working 20+ hours a week).
