Job Summary:The Production Manager is responsible for leading daily factory production operations for AI server, rack integration, and high-performance computing products. This role owns production execution, line performance, labor planning, output, quality, safety, cycle time, and schedule adherence across assigned manufacturing areas. The Production Manager partners with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Planning, Materials, Warehouse, Logistics, and customer-facing teams to meet production commitments, resolve issues quickly, and improve factory performance from NPI ramp through mass production.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Lead daily AI server factory production operations, including production output, line efficiency, labor utilization, quality, safety, cycle time, and on-time delivery across assigned manufacturing areas.
- Convert build plans, customer priorities, capacity needs, and material availability into executable production schedules while coordinating supervisors, leads, technicians, operators, and support teams to meet factory goals.
- Drive production readiness and shop-floor execution, including staffing, work instructions, tooling, fixtures, test equipment, material staging, ESD controls, safety rules, and customer-specific requirements.
- Monitor production performance, bottlenecks, shortages, downtime, yield, defects, WIP, rework, scrap, labor efficiency, and schedule adherence; prepare recovery plans, reports, and escalation summaries as needed.
- Support NPI builds, pilot runs, production ramp, line qualification, engineering changes, customer priority builds, quality issue resolution, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives through stable mass production.
Education:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma, production management, quality, safety, or related operations certification preferred.
Experience:- Ten (10)+ years of manufacturing, production, operations, or factory management experience in electronics manufacturing or related technology industries, including direct ownership of production execution, labor planning, output, quality, and schedule attainment.
- Three (3)+ years of people leadership experience managing production supervisors, leads, technicians, or operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ability to coach teams, manage priorities, and drive accountability.
- Strong experience supporting NPI ramp, pilot builds, mass production, sustaining operations, engineering changes, customer priority builds, factory KPIs, material flow, quality systems, test processes, and AI server/rack integration or complex electronic products preferred.
