Job Summary:

Falcon's is searching for a Production Manager to have responsibility for the project activities that takes the design to production, through assembly, performs factory testing and then coordinates with the Installation Team to take the product to the field for final installation. All production related activities within a single project, including facilitating the make/buy discussions with programs, managing vendors and subcontractors, and coordinating activities. The Production Manager provides project production oversight and status to the Program or Project Manager related to scope, schedule, resource needs and budget. The Production Manager will also coordinate field installation activities, working directly with the Manager of Installation to ensure all materials are delivered, installed according to the design and on-time.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage all functions of production including:
    • Subcontractor selection and management
    • Quality assurance and control interface
    • Coordination of FAT testing with Engineering and Engineering Technicians
  • Responsible for the inventory/tracking, maintenance and upkeep of testing tools and equipment.
  • Responsible for productivity improvement, finished product, production, and department safety compliance met through the effective implementation of ISO 9000 standards and HSE initiatives
  • Position requires a valid US Passport and the ability to travel and work abroad as required.
  • Assist in the sales efforts and expansion of customer base through effective and professional field execution.
  • Indirect personnel management and evaluation including providing performance evaluations to the functional supervisors/managers of the technicians supporting the production and installation effort, providing effective communication for job effort requirements.
  • Determine the most effective and productive methods to enhance capabilities, safety maintenance, control UDCs and value engineering.
  • Report project activities and monitor operation to plan and profitability.
  • Work is diversified and complex, resulting in problems which are not readily apparent; symptoms may be vague and facts may be incomplete. Solutions require use of independent judgment following company policies and procedures.
  • Formulating methods and processes to perform each specific project / process in the most efficient and productive manner. Position requires frequent application of original and independent thinking in developing moderately complex methods, products or systems.
  • Making decisions and taking independent action, following broad objectives on strategic and operational matter affecting a major function or department in the organization. Decisions are subject to guidance from executive/senior management. This may include determining the priority of projects, personnel requirements and control of overhead costs.
  • Impact of Decisions - Probable errors may be of significant magnitude and could cause major expense, loss of important customer accounts or damage to company prestige and goodwill. Duties may involve the preparation of data on which top management bases important decisions.
  • Requires moderate levels of physical and mental coordination equivalent to frequent and sustained use of office equipment such as a computer terminal, drafting equipment, machinery or other technical equipment. Also includes the level of risk normally associated to the higher hazard environment related to field installation activities.


Job Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred, or extensive job related experience and training leading to a high level of competency related to the work performed
  • Production related experience and/or training required
  • Project and resource management training and/or experience required
  • 10+ years work experience in a technical field
  • 5+ years in a project management role
  • Experience in supervisory role with direct responsibility for field installation labor and equipment preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of prints, bill of materials, and installation/test plans.
  • Demonstrated understanding of scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera)
  • Other computer software including typical office suites. (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
  • Will not require Falcon's Beyond Global, LLC to commence ("sponsor") an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).
