Hitachi Energy is looking for a dynamic Production Manager to oversee our Breakers & Modules manufacturing operations. How you'll make an impact
- Lead end-to-end production operations for Breakers & Modules, from material intake through final shipment.
- Develop and execute production schedules that achieve customer commitments and business objectives.
- Foster a strong culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and waste reduction initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and manufacturing teams to achieve high performance.
- Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions to improve operational results.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve processes.
- Identify and implement new technologies, automation solutions, and best practices to enhance operational performance.
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
- Experience in electrical components, circuit breakers, modular systems, or similar manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or other production planning systems.
- Proven leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting.
