Role DescriptionThe Production Controller is responsible for managing and optimizing production planning, scheduling, and reporting through Oracle Fusion Cloud. This role plays a key part in launching, maintaining, and enhancing Oracle Fusion modules that support manufacturing, inventory, and financial operations. The Production Controller ensures data integrity across departments and drives collaboration between Production, Supply Chain, Warehousing and Finance to achieve accurate costing, efficient resource planning, and strong operational performance.
This opportunity is based out of Form Factory 1 - Form Energy's 550,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Weirton, WV, a commutable distance from Pittsburgh. Purpose-built for high-volume, advanced battery production, Form Factory 1 is a hub of fast-moving, collaborative work driving a new era of large-scale American energy manufacturing in the heart of the Rust Belt.

What you'll do:- Oracle Fusion ERP Implementation & Optimization
- Lead and support the implementation and rollout of Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing ensuring seamless integration with operational workflows.
- Work with ERP project teams to define and configure production processes, routings, BOMs, and work centers in Oracle Fusion.
Collaborate on data migration, validation, and testing to ensure accuracy of master data (items, cost structures, and production parameters). - Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system validation for new modules, updates, and enhancements.
- Continuously review system performance, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and automate manual tasks using Oracle Fusion capabilities.
- Production Control & Scheduling
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production data within Oracle Fusion, including work orders, materials, and resource utilization.
- Monitor real-time production progress using Fusion dashboards and analytics tools.
- Collaboration with Finance
- Work closely with the Finance Department to ensure accurate cost tracking and reconciliation between production and financial modules in Oracle Fusion.
- Support Finance in managing standard costing, work order variances, and cost roll-ups within the ERP system.
- Ensure accurate recording of material consumption, labor hours, and overhead allocations to maintain integrity of financial data.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes by providing production data and system reports for accounting review.
- Collaborate on system enhancements that improve the integration between operations and financial reporting.
- System Maintenance & Support
- Act as a primary point of contact for production-related ERP issues, troubleshooting data discrepancies and workflow problems.
Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reports within Oracle Fusion and BI tools to support decision-making. - Partner with IT and Oracle support teams for upgrades, configuration changes, and module enhancements.
What you'll bring:- Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Systems, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in production control, planning, or manufacturing operations.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, specifically in Manufacturing, Inventory, and Costing modules.
- Strong understanding of ERP data structures including BOMs, routings, work centers, and cost elements.
- Familiarity with integration between production and finance modules (General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Valuation).
- Proficient in Oracle Fusion reporting tools, analytics dashboards, and Excel.
- Experience supporting ERP implementation or upgrade projects.
- Excellent communication and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
