Position Summary

The Product Training Manager - Oncology Portfolio is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining product education programs that enable Caris Life Sciences' Commercial organization to effectively represent the Oncology portfolio, including MI Cancer Seek®, Caris Assure™, and ChromoSeq®.

Reporting to the Director, Product Launch & Continuous Education, this role partners cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Product Management, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations to design and deliver product education across the commercial employee lifecycle. The Product Training Manager translates evolving scientific evidence, clinical data, competitive intelligence, and commercial messaging into engaging learning experiences that support new hire onboarding, product launches, and continuous education.

This individual serves as the Commercial Education lead for assigned Oncology products, ensuring training content remains current, accurate, and aligned with commercial strategy and field needs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve product training curriculum for the Oncology portfolio, including MI Cancer Seek®, Caris Assure™, and ChromoSeq®, to support new hire onboarding, product launches, and ongoing commercial education.
  • Translate complex scientific, clinical, technical, and commercial information into engaging, learner-centered training materials, including instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, microlearning, video, and self-directed learning solutions.
  • Design structured learning pathways, certifications, assessments, job aids, playbooks, competitive intelligence resources, field communications, and reinforcement activities that build product knowledge and improve field execution.
  • Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Product Management, Sales Leadership, Commercial Operations, and subject matter experts to ensure training content reflects current product strategy, clinical evidence, commercial messaging, competitive intelligence, and product enhancements.
  • Monitor product updates, labeling changes, new clinical data, competitive landscape, and commercial messaging to ensure all training materials remain accurate, current, and aligned with business priorities.
  • Serve as the primary Commercial Education partner for assigned Oncology product teams and collaborate with the Director, Product Launch & Continuous Education and the Director, New Hire Training to prioritize learning initiatives and maintain onboarding curriculum.
  • Facilitate product training during new hire onboarding, product launches, National Sales Meetings, regional meetings, and other commercial education events as needed.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, learner feedback, field observations, and performance metrics, and implement continuous improvements using adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and learning technologies.
  • Maintain governance, version control, and quality of assigned product training materials to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Support National Sales Meetings, regional meetings, product launch readiness, and other Commercial Education initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Caris products, commercial processes, and customer workflows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in commercial training, product education, learning and development, marketing, or related commercial roles within life sciences, diagnostics, biotechnology, or healthcare.
  • Experience in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine strongly preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare sales, product marketing, medical education, or customer-facing commercial roles preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific and clinical information into practical, engaging learning solutions.
  • Strong project management, collaboration, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS).


Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally lift routine office supplies and operate standard office equipment.


Required Training
  • Complete all required job-specific, safety, compliance, and quality training in accordance with company requirements.


Travel
  • This position requires periodic travel, including attendance at National Sales Meetings, regional meetings, product launch events, and other business-related activities. Occasional evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.
