ABOUT THE TEAMAnduril's Electronic Warfare (EW) team is seeking experienced generalist embedded software engineers to build out the software ecosystem supporting a next-generation electronic warfare platform. As an Embedded software engineer, you'll develop high-performance implementations of numerical algorithms, collaborate with digital systems engineers to enable maximum-performance interfaces between next-gen RF hardware and software, work with DSP and RFML engineers to rapidly deploy bleeding-edge capabilities to our customers, and collaborate with the wider software organization to deliver seamless integration of electronic warfare products with the Anduril Lattice system-of-systems suite. You will apply state-of-the-art software construction techniques to ensure the timely delivery of correct mission-critical code.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Own RF test strategy and coverage for EW systems across development and manufacturing.
- Drive improvements in RF test architecture, with a focus on tactically-relevant mission-focused testing.
- Create, maintain electrical test systems through the full lifecycle of development, implementation, scaling, and refinement.
- Improve and sustain existing test systems to improve automation, consistency, and coverage.
- Document test plans, user instructions and manuals.
- Determine root cause of product failures and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Work with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering teams to support customer returns and failure analysis.
- Validate through regression testing when issues and corrective actions are resolved.
- Train technicians on equipment use as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Test Engineering, RF validation, or hardware/system integration.
- Experience with RF circuit board assemblies, subassemblies, and systems.
- Familiarity with Python, and/or MATLAB for test scripting, data parsing, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of RF fundamentals including S-parameters, impedance matching, signal integrity, and RF signal chains.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu and NixOS.
- Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators.
- Experience with test automation, PCBA design and mechanical design.
- Experience supporting RF development and production testing, EW systems, or wireless/communications hardware.
US Salary Range
$166,000-$220,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
