Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, product management and strategy, or analytics in a technology company.
  • Experience working with and analyzing data, and managing multiple projects.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in consumer tech, AI advancements, and platform economics, with a balanced high-altitude product strategy and ground-level tactical execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill data into clear, persuasive slide decks and build trust with executive leaders.

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google's functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

As a Product Strategy and Operations Lead, you will act as a critical multiplier and trusted thought partner for Chrome's leadership. You will balance high-altitude product strategy with the ground-level execution of crafting executive narratives, and driving alignment.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$218,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Drive Chrome's business cadence, define success metrics, and ensure operations translate into actionable insights for the Chrome leadership team.
  • Structure business and product issues, framing problems, identifying constraints, and mapping solution spaces and synthesize into compelling narratives and decks for executive audiences.
  • Serve as a dedicated partner for leadership on ambiguous, 0-to-1 product and innovation issues, providing thought partnership.
  • Design and facilitate executive forums and leadership offsites, and drive the agenda for critical decision-making, ensuring leadership is aligned on Chrome's multi-year roadmap and top-level objectives and key results (OKRs).
  • Drive operating model and organizational design initiatives, and identify structural or process-related friction points and design scalable solutions to improve wide decision velocity and effectiveness.
