Your role

As the Product Sales Development Manager at Leybold, you will serve as the key regional liaison for everything related to our product and applications portfolio. This role involves close collaboration with our global product management team to ensure that customers in the industrial sector receive exceptional service and insight regarding the Leybold Industrial Vacuum Product range. Additionally, you will manage a variety of responsibilities, including providing technical support, structuring pricing strategies, executing marketing plans, guiding new product launches, and delivering comprehensive product training.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as the primary contact for the Leybold Industrial Vacuum Product range within your region, ensuring that client needs and queries are met efficiently.
  • Supporting the Technical Support team by addressing product-related inquiries and facilitating solutions.
  • Collaborating with the Applications team to identify and recommend the most suitable vacuum equipment for various applications, both known and emerging.
  • Conducting training sessions for customers in-house and off-site, focused on the proper application of Leybold products and diverse industrial applications.
  • Engaging in joint customer visits and conference calls to promote training on product use and discover potential vacuum opportunities.
  • Preparing engaging materials and presentations, collaborating with account managers for effective product demonstrations.
  • Assisting customers during test phases by providing startup support and necessary qualifications.
  • Building your expertise in Leybold products and their applications, thereby enhancing value for clients.
  • Conducting market research to understand competitive products and pricing, and contributing insights for global product management, enhancing our sales messages.
  • Cooperating with the NA and Global Marketing teams to define key messaging strategies.
  • Identifying market positioning and share, shaping a clear picture of total available market for the HV product line within North America.
  • Advising on regional warranty claim decisions and supporting quality assurance efforts.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support operational efficiency.
