Full Job Description
Product Performance Manager - Electric Drive Trucks (EDT), you will play a critical leadership role inoptimizingequipment performance and reliability across our mining customer fleets. Reporting to the Director, Mining Technical Services, you will lead a centralized technical team and collaborate with internal stakeholders, OEM partners, and customers. This role is focused on improving machine performance, strengthening relationships, and driving reliability strategies that deliver value to our customers and business.

Salary: $150,000-$160,000 per year, plus annual incentive eligibility of up to $60,000
Work Arrangement:On-site, hybrid or remote-first
Schedule: Monday to Fridaywith flexibility

This role requires frequent travel during the first 1-2 years, estimated at up to 50%, with travel expected to reduce to approximately 30% over time.

WhatYou'llDo

  • Lead and support a centralized team of Technical Support Representatives, Technical Specialists, and Reliability Engineers/Analysts
  • Develop and implement reliability strategies, KPIs, and frameworks for Electric Drive Truck fleets
  • Coordinate technical support priorities including travel, onsite support, and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with operations, reliability, engineering, and service teams to share best practices and ensure consistent support across regions
  • Act as the primary liaison between customers, SMS Equipment, and OEMs for reliability, warranty, and technical matters
  • Monitor fleet performance, investigate failures, and lead root cause analysis to improve reliability outcomes
  • Support warranty claims, dispute resolution, and contractual obligations whilemaintainingstrong customer relationships
  • Ensure effective communication and execution of OEMfieldcampaigns and product updates
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, throughput, and product enhancements


What You Bring

You are atechnically strong and collaborative leaderwith deep experience in mining or heavy equipment environments, bringingexpertisein Electric Drive Truck systems or similar equipment, combined with aproven ability to lead and influence technical teams. You applystrong analytical thinking and sound decision-makingto solve complex reliability challenges, while buildingtrusted relationships with customers, OEM partners, and internal teamsto drive performance improvements.

  • Trade certification or technical/engineering certification in a related field, such as Heavy Equipment Technician, Electrician, or Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in mining, industrial, or engineering environments
  • 5+ years ofleadership experience managing technical or reliability-focused teams
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
