Position Overview:

Enterprise BTO department is looking for Product Owner Tech Lead with strong analytical qualities, expert business process automation skills, testing experience and excellent communication abilities.

Role requires thought leadership to identify, prioritize and advance our BPM enterprise platform. As part of the BPM Center of Excellence, the Product Owner Lead engages with organizational stakeholders to influence BPMs solutions, strategic roadmaps and integrations with other technologies to best serve our customers.

The right candidate shall effectively support multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment working closely with IT, business, and vendor stakeholders.

Candidate shall be one of the primary liaisons with business partners. The candidate shall also lead and participate in assigned maintenance, operational, and other business support tactical activities to deliver value to the department and customers.

We deliver automation solutions by building and enhancing software applications using Business Process Management and Low Code Application Platforms required for Internal Audit, Legal and various other divisions at Freddie Mac.
  • Partner with Product and Business team members to ensure high quality product is developed and released into production.
  • Work closely with Architecture, Stakeholders, Operations Partners, and Business Product teams to specify and refi ne solutions and practices.
  • Evolve a DevOps culture to provide high quality, continuous operations, and ongoing support ensuring critical service level, customer requirements and financial objectives.


Your Impact:

Serve as the BPM expert in the tool (Appian) setup/configuration/design, process and workflow usage, enterprise development, standards and best practices usage, training and delivery

Act as a BPM technology lead for the project teams to address systems, software integration and compatibility issues especially in a multi-tenant environment, inclusive of providing an integrated solution covering custom applications, other packages, infrastructure aspects and progressing to cloud applications

Analyze and support system requirements and functional specification to make design decisions, including independent judgment on any changes, enhancements, resolutions to roadblocks and identified defects
Deliver and recommend BPM solutions that adopt the enterprise BPM and SOA architectures, patterns, policies and standards, guidelines and principles, procedures, and methodology, while working closely with the Architects to define/refine as BPM maturity progresses

Build BPM reference implementations and integrations with other patterns, components and systems while working with the Solution Architects and other Technical Leads

Leverage a collaboration technique for identifying reuse opportunities with other members of the team and execute on reuse objectives
Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies such as Databases, Active Directory, Security/Web APIs, Ping, Snowflake, Dremio and other internal systems in the enterprise
Conduct technical assessments and detailed design reviews, validating that the design follows the approved architecture
Play a major role in evolving the BPM Center of Excellence
Socialize BPM concepts within the Business Users/Stakeholders including conducting demos on the Enterprise Platform (Appian)

Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of related work experience in Information Technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management systems, or business administration or related experience. Advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities with track record of enhancing business process efficiencies.
  • Excellent skills to elicit requirements and partnering with diverse stakeholders is a must.
  • 3+ years of strong experience with Business Process development and BPM software such as Appian is a plus
  • Strong experience coordinating multiple, cross-functional IT projects to ensure timely progress against project budget, schedule and resource plans.
  • Experience in end-to-end analysis, design, implementation, and support of applications involving COTS and SaaS.
  • Ability to work independently with technical and/or infrastructure teams (Network, Facilities, Security & Engineering teams) to develop delivery schedule.
  • Ability to identify, report and escalate risks on projects
  • Proficiency with M365 and MS Power Platform a plus
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile projects, and Operations involving production application maintenance, support, and business operations
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $145,000 - $217,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
