Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with 10+ years of IT industry experience to join our banking client in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving product vision, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the product roadmap, aligning business objectives with technology solutions.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, creating detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with business users, development teams, architects, QA teams, and project managers.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure product features meet business, regulatory, security, and compliance requirements within the banking domain.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital and technology solutions.
  • Monitor product performance, user feedback, and KPIs to continuously improve product value.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of priorities and deliverables
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of IT industry experience with at least 3-5 years as a Product Owner or similar role.
  • Strong experience in Banking and Financial Services.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Agile project management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, digital products, APIs, and enterprise applications.


Base Salary Range: $93,000 - $130,000
