Position OverviewRiverside Research is seeking a full-time Product Owner to support the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. This position will function as part of a team providing systems engineering integration and architecture support. They will apply Agile methodologies in a Product Owner role to engage with stakeholders and assist developers in creating and integrating software products supporting NASIC PED throughout defined, regular intervals. They will apply their strong interpersonal and organizational skills in building relationships with community stakeholders. The work is in support of both Intelligence Community and Department of Defense (DoD) programs.
Responsibilities
- As a Product Owner, engage with stakeholders to understand their needs for NASIC processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) software, architectures, and networks.
- Assist software architecture users as a Product Owner in developing and prioritizing requirements.
- Advise software development team(s) as a Product Owner in understanding stakeholder requirements and delivering software and architecture which satisfies those requirements.
- Develop and communicate product vision, goals, and deliverables to developers, technically diverse stakeholders, and Government customers.
- Advise on incorporating software product development into cloud architectures.
- Coordinate efforts across multiple development teams to facilitate common architecture solutions which apply across theNASIC enterprise.
- Provide technical leadership and advice to the vision, design, and oversight of complex projects, spanning hardware and software solutions.
- Apply systems engineering methodologies to enhance R&D and acquisition processes.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor27s degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields.
- 8+ years27 experience in a mix of systems engineering/architecture development and technical project management.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, responsible team player able to work independently with minimal daily direction; effective/efficient written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master27s degree in systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or information technology related technical fields.
- 10+ years27 experience in a mix of systems engineering/architecture development and technical project management in support of the IC or DoD.
- Experience working with Software Developers, System Architects and System Engineers.
- Experience inNASICprocessing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED).
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies, and/or Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner.
- Familiarity with the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) or Systems Modeling Language (SysML), to support creation of artifacts such as Block Definition Diagrams, Internal Block Diagrams, Use Case Diagrams, and Activity Diagrams that display operational views (OV), system views (SV), capability views (CV), and data views (DV).
- Experience engineering / implementing operational prototypes is highly desired.
- Experience with DevSecOps and/or cross domain solutions
- Experience with Cloud-Native Architectures
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, data bases, Python, Istio, Helm, GitLab, Elastic, Tableau, Confluence, Jira and/or other related technologies
Global Comp$130,000- $155,000 This represents the typical compensation range for this position based on experience, location and other factors.
